I got a request to make two owl plushies for a Valentines Day giftes. I started with the big plushie first. This owl is about 3 1/2 inches high and about 3 1/2 inches wide... She's a fat ball like owl, made out of fleece and felt. Some of the felt is eco friendly made from plastic or something.........

Charlotte is a baby Great Horny, Horn Owl. Great Horny, Horn Owls come from the forest... Charlotte has left the safety of her forest in search for a new friend. X-mas Spirit!

I did it I sucked it up a got into the whole Christmas spirit with two stocking hair clips. I'm now selling them both on my etsy ( www.lilim.etsy.com ) they are both 3dollars each before shipping and you can easily take off the hair clip part and add a pin if you don't love hair clips. I peronly love hair clips!

~aka-kitty on Deviantart is having a little contest to draw one of her characters from a comic book she never updates >.> I drew Neroisiss dressed up as Janus cause he misses him so much hehehe. (Neroississ is the one in teal with the horns and wings) I found my drawing to be very boring.... So I pulled out my paints and felt and made him into an awesome plushie with a BUM! ♥ When ~aka-kitty saw it she said...

I got my tote bag a few days ago, I've just been lazy and not in much of a blogging mood... Jenna knows how much I love my stuff we chat from time to time on msn. She did an awesome job on spoiling me ^__^ She made so much that some of it wasn't able to fit in the picture. I love my koala scarf the most! I cannot wait till its cold enough to wrap up in it. Jenna made everything so bright and colourful. It makes it hard to be depressed when your around so many colours and so much luv hehehe.

Today I got my box from Androidraptor!!! She's the one I made the Shinx plushie for. Thank you soo much Androidraptor!!! ♥ I love them all so much every much. The Jiggly puffs are my favorite but the long neck pinkish dino is sooo cute! Reminds me of nessy hehehe

Jenna's Tote Bag

On Cut Out + Keep ( http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/board/creative/swap_shop/1012 ) We had a tote bag swap. I made a bag for Jenna I believe I sent it on humpday and she got it today ^_^ She loves it!!! I think she loves the fan and bag the most. The fan is made from silk from China and the bag is a Hello Kitty bento box made out of felt. Also I made her some foam stamps, small plushes (bee and unicron), bag to hold the stamps, a scarf with a tamagotchi characters named Violetchi on it, and a few other things as you can see hehe

This is a girl Shinx from Pokemon, she is about 5 1/2inchs, one of the biggest plushies I have made so far. I designed the patten and hand sewn the whole thing. Took about 15 hours give or take, i try not to think about how slow I work >_< But I made her for Androidraptor ( http://androidraptor.deviantart.com/ ) who is an origami artist. We're doing a little art trade, she's made me a few pokemon using her own origami design. It's awesome how she makes them. She makes this Mew by first starting off using the origami frog base that we've all learned to love or hate (If you've tried origami yourself) and twist it and folds into something for her very own. I've seen how she makes Mew and I'm still not sure if I can do it myself. I cannot wait till I get my package from her and I do hope she loves her Shinx, I put a lot of love into her.

Plastic Rings!

I bought some Shrinky plastic a little while ago, and thought today I would make some rings. I found a very useful tutorial at http://www.planetjune.com/blog/ on making shrinky plastic rings.

In the tutorial they used rubber stamps, since I didn't have any I used sharpies and made my own unique design. As you can see, I drew octopus arms and coloured them purple and blue, then an orange and red koi fishie, lastly a cherry blossom tree. This rings aren't as easy as I thought they would be... I over measured and had to file them down and rebake and then wrap them into rings again. I hate to say it but I think it took me five or six tries till I got it just right. The cherry blossom tree ring is way to big for me but it'll fit a friend of mine ^_^ So I didn't bother filing that ring down but the other two are mine.

This is my first plushie I made him last Monday, it's for a swap I'm doing on cut out + keep. We are making tote bags and stuffing them with goodies ^^ So I've been trying to make lots of stuff I haven't really made before. I've enjoyed working with felt so much, that I started an etsy (http://www.etsy.com/profile.php?user_id=6259539 ) and hope to sell some of my stuff later on.

Any who, my bee plushie is maybe 3 inches big. With a yellow body and brown strips, a little hot pink heart on his bum, black beads for eyes, and rainbow tutu stuff for the wings. I haven't thought of a name for the little guy, but as you can see he loves going outside hang flying around with other bum-ble-bees. ^_^ Well I'm off to the grocery store, thank you for stopping by and reading my first bloggie ever! I hope it wasn't to boring. ♥
